“It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be ground down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the world more human and more fraternal.” Pope John Paul II

Genevieve Riley attended Ave Maria University, where she studied Accounting and played soccer. Through backpacking trips in Utah and serving at Camp Wojtyla in Colorado, she discovered a passion for outdoor education and ministry. In August 2023, Genevieve became a certified Wilderness First Responder. Prior to joining the Summit Academy, she worked as a college advisor and athletic director for a K-12 classical academy in Florida. She received her MS in Business Analytics from William & Mary and later worked as a data engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton. Now, Genevieve teaches both middle and high school mathematics, as well as brings forward her experience in soccer and outdoor leadership to coach the HS Girls Soccer team and lead the Outdoor Program.
