Civil War Games: Summer 2025 Day Camp

Plunge into local Civil War history through outdoor excursions and wargaming, in this week of summer fun for ages 11-18!

Each morning campers explore local battlefields, with a National Park Ranger guide, immersing themselves in the history and landscape. In the afternoon, campers will take the place of famous commanders and recreate these historic battles by playing 19th century war games used to train military officers. The week culminates in a campfire and living history demonstration with local Civil War reenactors.
