Crystal Edwards discovered her passion for supporting families and children early in her academic journey. She earned her B.S. in Social Work from Franciscan University and went on to complete her M.S. in Social Work at the University of Maryland. Crystal has professional experience in child welfare and mental health settings, which strengthened her commitment to nurturing strong relationships and community support. She is a mother of seven and values The Summit Academy’s approach to education; her five older children attend or have attended the school’s middle and high school programs, while she currently homeschools her youngest two.
