Dr. Keith Parkinson
Instructor of Latin, Theology, and Trivium
Keith Parkinson grew up in Fairfax County, Virginia. He first became involved with Catholic classical education in 2009, when a desire for a small intellectual community centered around the love of wisdom and the study of canonical texts brought him to Thomas More College in New Hampshire. This also marked his first introduction to the Catholic faith, to which he converted shortly after graduation.
After college, he taught in Catholic classical schools in the Louisville area for about a decade, while also pursuing graduate studies in philosophy at the University of Kentucky, where he completed and defended his dissertation on Thomism and the philosophy of education in 2024. He now returns to his native region, eager to contribute to The Summit’s educational program. He lives in southern Fredericksburg with his wife and daughter.
